Toyota 1JZ | 2JZ Billet Timing Belt Tensioner Assembly
The Toyota 1JZ and 2JZ are exceptional engines, but Toyota’s original cast aluminium timing belt idler tensioner bracket was never designed for the power levels these engines are now producing. Under increased power, aggressive valve springs, larger cams, or sustained rev limiter use, the factory bracket is known to snap without warning. When it does, the consequences range from bent valves to a completely destroyed engine — a guaranteed long and expensive fix.
Ross Performance Parts designed this precision billet aluminium replacement specifically for the JZ platform. It integrates directly with the existing tensioner assembly — no modification to any other components — and is proven from factory power levels through to four-digit builds.
